Body Piercing in Hauz Khas Village

Body Piercing in Hauz Khas Village — Inkspace, Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi

Inkspace offers professional body piercing in Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi — performed in a sterile, private setting with implant-grade jewellery.

Types of piercings we offer

At Inkspace, our piercing room sits on the first floor at Space Gully, Hauz Khas Village — a quiet, private space separate from the tattoo floor. We perform needle piercing only, using single-use hollow needles and implant-grade jewellery opened in front of every client.

The piercings we offer include:

  • Ear lobe piercing — single or multiple lobe placements, including stacked lobes
  • Upper lobe piercing — positioned above standard lobe placement for a curated ear
  • Helix piercing — outer cartilage rim, suited to studs and small hoops
  • Forward helix piercing — front cartilage fold, popular for tiny studs
  • Tragus piercing — the small pointed cartilage in front of the ear canal
  • Conch piercing — inner cartilage bowl, ideal for flat-back studs and rings
  • Rook piercing — the ridge between outer and inner cartilage
  • Daith piercing — innermost cartilage fold, often worn with a captive bead ring
  • Nose piercing — nostril piercing with screw, L-bend or flat-back stud options
  • Septum piercing — the soft tissue below the nasal septum cartilage
  • Navel piercing — belly button piercing, usually fitted with a curved barbell

Standard piercings start at ₹800. Advanced cartilage and specialised placements start at ₹1,200. Jewellery upgrades are available depending on material and style. If you are comparing options before booking, you can also read about our ear piercing service in Hauz Khas.

Ear piercings

Ear piercing is the most requested service at our Hauz Khas studio. We perform lobe and cartilage piercings using a single-use, pre-sterilised hollow needle — never a piercing gun. Guns cause blunt trauma, increase swelling and make precise placement difficult. Needle piercing allows us to control angle, depth and exit point, which matters for cartilage that must heal flat and straight.

Clients often book multiple ear piercings in one visit. A curated ear with three to five piercings across lobe, helix and conch is common at our Space Gully studio. We mark every placement with you before piercing, check symmetry in the mirror, and only proceed when you are comfortable.

Healing times vary by placement. Ear lobes heal in six to eight weeks. Cartilage piercings — helix, forward helix, tragus, conch, rook and daith — take three to nine months. We fit the initial jewellery with extra length to accommodate swelling, then advise downsizing after four to six weeks.

Nose piercings

Nose piercing at Inkspace covers nostril and septum work. Nostril piercings are placed on the side of your choice, marked to match your nose shape and facial symmetry. We offer screw-style studs, L-bend studs and flat-back labret-style jewellery. The initial stud is fitted slightly longer to allow for swelling, then downsized after healing to sit flush against the skin.

Septum piercings are placed through the thin membrane below the hard nasal cartilage — not through the cartilage itself. This reduces pain and improves healing. Both nostril and septum piercings typically heal in six to eight weeks with proper aftercare, though nostrils can occasionally take up to four months.

We advise against changing nose jewellery before the piercing is fully healed. Premature changes are the most common cause of irritation bumps. If you need a different style for an event, message us on WhatsApp and we can assess readiness.

Jewellery materials used

The jewellery we fit at the time of piercing matters as much as the technique. We use medical-grade stainless steel as our standard material — hypoallergenic, corrosion-resistant and widely tolerated. For clients with nickel sensitivity or sensitive skin, we offer implant-grade titanium. Titanium is biocompatible, lighter than steel and nickel-free, making it ideal for long-term wear.

All jewellery is internally threaded or threadless, with polished surfaces that do not catch on clothing or bedding. We open packaging in front of you before the piercing begins. If you are unsure which material is right for you, our piercer will assess your skin history and recommend the safest option.

Hygiene and sterilisation standards

Our piercing room at Space Gully, Hauz Khas Village follows the same single-client, single-use protocol as our tattoo floor.

What we do every time:

  • Single-use, pre-sterilised hollow needles — opened from sealed packaging in front of you, used on one client only
  • Fresh jewellery from sealed pouches — never reused, never borrowed from display stock
  • Disposable nitrile gloves changed at every stage — before setup, after marking, after any interruption and before aftercare instructions
  • Hospital-grade surface disinfectant on the piercing bed, tray, lamp and all contact surfaces between clients
  • Biomedical sharps disposal — used needles go into a sealed sharps container collected by a licensed waste contractor
  • Hand-wash protocol — the piercer scrubs hands before gloving and again before touching aftercare supplies
  • Skin prep in sequence — cleaned, marked, cleaned again and then pierced, every time

The room is cleaned and aired between clients. We do not rush appointments. If the room is not ready, you wait in the consult area upstairs until it is.

Healing and aftercare

Healing a piercing is a partnership between the studio and the client. We do our part with clean technique and quality jewellery. You do your part with consistent aftercare.

Daily routine:

  • Clean the piercing twice daily with sterile saline solution
  • Spray or soak for three to five minutes, then gently dry with clean tissue
  • Do not rotate or twist the jewellery — this tears healing tissue and reintroduces bacteria
  • Avoid touching the piercing with unwashed hands
  • Keep hair, phone screens and pillowcases away from fresh piercings

Things to avoid during healing:

  • Swimming pools, hot tubs and saunas for the first four weeks
  • Sleeping on the piercing side — use a travel pillow for ear piercings
  • Changing jewellery before the piercing is fully healed
  • Alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or tea-tree oil — these dry tissue and delay healing
  • Makeup and hair spray directly on or around the piercing

Typical healing timelines:

  • Ear lobe: six to eight weeks
  • Helix, forward helix, tragus: three to nine months
  • Conch, rook, daith: six to twelve months
  • Nostril: two to four months
  • Septum: six to eight weeks
  • Navel: six to twelve months

Swelling, slight redness and clear fluid are normal in the first two weeks. If you experience persistent pain, spreading redness, heat or yellow discharge, message us on WhatsApp.

Why choose Inkspace for piercing

There are many options for body piercing in Delhi. What separates a safe piercing from a risky one is technique, materials and environment.

Needle only, always. We do not use piercing guns or spring-loaded devices. Guns cause blunt force trauma, cannot be sterilised properly and make precise placement impossible. Needle piercing is safer, more accurate and less painful.

Private piercing room. Your piercing happens in a dedicated, clean room on the first floor at Space Gully — not a shop-floor chair or curtained corner. Privacy and calm matter, especially for first-time clients.

Custom placement. We mark, mirror-check and adjust before piercing. No rushed positioning. Every piercing is placed for your anatomy and your preference.

Quality jewellery from day one. Medical-grade stainless steel or implant-grade titanium, opened in front of you. No mystery metals, no plated jewellery, no externally threaded bars for fresh piercings.

Honest aftercare. Written instructions, saline guidance and WhatsApp support for the full healing period. We do not hand you a leaflet and disappear.

Trained, experienced hands. Our piercers are trained in bloodborne pathogen safety, cross-contamination prevention and anatomical placement. This is a dedicated discipline with its own standards.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Do you use a needle or a piercing gun?

We use single-use, pre-sterilised hollow needles for every piercing. Needles cause less trauma, allow precise angle and depth control, and can be fully sterilised. Piercing guns use blunt force, cannot be sterilised between clients and make accurate placement difficult — which is why we do not use them at our Hauz Khas studio.

What jewellery do you use for fresh piercings?

Our standard jewellery is medical-grade stainless steel — hypoallergenic, corrosion-resistant and widely tolerated. We also offer implant-grade titanium for clients with nickel sensitivity or sensitive skin. All pieces are internally threaded or threadless, opened from sealed packaging in front of you, and selected to fit your anatomy and placement.

How much does a piercing cost in Hauz Khas?

Standard piercings — ear lobe, upper lobe, nostril and septum — start at ₹800. Advanced cartilage piercings including helix, forward helix, tragus, conch, rook, daith and navel start at ₹1,200. Jewellery upgrades to titanium or decorative styles are available at additional cost, quoted before the appointment.

How long does a piercing take to heal?

Healing depends on placement and aftercare discipline. Ear lobes heal in six to eight weeks. Cartilage piercings — helix, tragus, conch, rook, daith — take three to nine months. Nostril piercings heal in two to four months. Septum piercings heal in six to eight weeks. Navel piercings take six to twelve months. Following the saline routine and avoiding pressure, sleeping on the piercing and premature jewellery changes are the fastest way to heal cleanly.

What is the aftercare routine?

Clean the piercing twice daily with sterile saline solution. Spray or soak for three to five minutes, then gently dry with clean tissue. Do not rotate or twist the jewellery. Avoid swimming pools, saunas and sleeping on the piercing side for the first four weeks. Do not use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or tea-tree oil — these dry tissue and delay healing. We provide written aftercare instructions and WhatsApp support for any questions during healing.

Do you pierce minors?

We pierce clients aged 16 and above with a valid photo ID. Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who provides written consent and proof of guardianship at the appointment. We do not pierce infants or young children.

Can I get multiple piercings in one visit?

Yes. Many clients book two to four piercings in a single appointment to build a curated ear. We recommend limiting cartilage piercings to two per visit so your body can focus its healing response. Lobes heal faster, so multiple lobe piercings plus one cartilage is a common combination. We will advise based on your anatomy and previous piercing history.

Do you offer walk-in piercings in Hauz Khas?

Walk-ins are welcome for standard ear and nose piercings, though we recommend messaging us on WhatsApp first to check jewellery availability and confirm a slot. Advanced placements, multiple piercings and navel work are best booked in advance so we can allocate time and prepare the room.

How do I know if my piercing is infected?

Normal healing includes slight redness, mild swelling and a small amount of clear or white fluid in the first two weeks. Signs of infection include spreading redness, persistent heat, throbbing pain, yellow or green discharge and fever. If you notice these symptoms, message us on WhatsApp immediately. Most irritation is caused by premature jewellery changes, sleeping on the piercing or using harsh cleaning products — not infection — and can be resolved quickly with the right adjustment.
