REFUND & CANCELLATION

BOOKING POLICY

A booking at Inkspace holds an artist, a room, and a window of focused time. This policy explains what your deposit covers, how we handle changes, and the few moments when a refund isn't possible — written plainly, without small print.

1. BOOKING DEPOSITS

A deposit is taken to confirm your slot. It secures the artist's time, the room, and the preparation that goes into your piece before you ever sit down. Deposits are generally non-refundable, but in most cases the full deposit is adjusted against the final session cost on the day of your tattoo.

2. RESCHEDULING

Life happens. You may reschedule once with at least 48 hours of notice and we will carry your deposit forward to the new date. Repeated reschedules, or moves made with less than 48 hours of notice, may forfeit the deposit. Genuine emergencies — medical, family, travel disruption — are handled case-by-case with care.

3. CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS

Same-day cancellations and no-shows result in the deposit being forfeited, since the slot can no longer be offered to another client. Cancellations made with adequate notice are treated as a reschedule by default — we'd rather hold your space than close the door.

4. LARGE CUSTOM PROJECTS

Multi-session work, large back/sleeve pieces, and complex cover-ups may follow separate scheduling and deposit terms agreed in writing before the project begins. Where a custom design has already been drawn, design fees are non-refundable as they reflect work already delivered.

5. GIFT COUPONS

Gift coupons are non-refundable once purchased and are intended as a gift to a specific recipient. Validity, transferability, and redemption conditions are printed on the coupon itself and on the gift confirmation email. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash and unused balance does not roll over after expiry.

6. TRAINING PAYMENTS

Training seats are limited and reserved per cohort. Fees paid for completed or in-progress modules are non-refundable. If you cancel before the program begins, a partial refund may be available depending on the notice window stated in your enrolment agreement. Digital materials, recorded lessons, and reference packs become non-refundable from the moment access is granted.

7. HEALTH & SAFETY

We may refuse or end a session if a client arrives intoxicated, under the influence of substances, or medically unfit to be tattooed safely. In such cases the deposit is treated as a forfeited slot. This is never punitive — it protects your skin, your healing, and the integrity of the work.

8. PAYMENT DISPUTES

If you ever feel a charge is unfair, please talk to us directly before raising a dispute with your bank or card provider. Most situations can be resolved with a single conversation, and we'd rather make it right than argue paperwork.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy as our studio grows. The version in force for your booking is the one published on this page at the time of your deposit.
